TEHRAN – Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf’s withdrawal from presidential candidacy served to empower the Popular Front of Islamic Revolution Forces (called JAMNA in Persian acronym), presidential candidate Mostafa Mirsalim said on Wednesday.

“But Mr. Jahangiri’s withdrawal was a political deception,” he said during a press conference, IRIB reported.

Also when asked about opinion polls, he said he attaches no value to them. “In political activism one should not value polls, but rather pay attention to analyses and the ideas that form the political party.”
